As a small business owner, and speaking from experience, bookkeeping is not something you can avoid. It is not fun and to be honest, it is pretty boring.

Over the last 5 years of business I have been doing this myself on a monthly basis and getting everything ready for my accountant.

While the business grows and more clients and sales are happening, the bookkeeping is starting to away whole weekends at a time and invoices are started to get missed as well as some invoices being months overdue because the MYOB hadn’t been opened in a while and payments that I thought had come in, just never made the account.

A little over 3 months ago I decided to outsource this work to MP Bookkeepers and they are proving to be a lifesaver. They are reliable and accurate and the reasonable fee is offset by the time I normally waste on this work.

Another good thing about MP Bookkeppers, they also have an accounting arm of their business, maybe in a few months they will get that part of my business as well.
